Women in Banking in the EU-Member States and Liechtenstein 1998 |
In 1999 questionnaires were sent to the five major banks in
each Member State according to a list published in The Banker,
July 1998. The return rate was 56%, but questionnaires were
not always completed correctly. Most of the banks questioned
were only willing to have the outcomes published as national
data rather than as figures for individual banks. Therefore
we can only present figures that show national
averages.
